Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2 Prime smartphone in India last week for Rs. 6,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.2GHz per core,similar to the Redmi 2, but this has 2GB of RAM. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with MIUI 6(Latest Version Available MIUI 7.1.1.0) on top.
